We are excited to announce that earlier this month, Swae was accepted into the Creative Destruction Lab (CDL) in its Compute stream.

CDL is one of the most respected accelerator programs in the world of technology entrepreneurship. Unlike most other accelerators, CDL takes no equity and is on a mission to help as many massively scalable, seed-stage, science- and technology-based startups increase their chances of success.

How? Through CDL’s unique approach: selected startups attend five in-person objective-setting sessions with some of the best and brightest existing and exited founders, top-tier venture investors and innovators in various fields. CDL mentors include accomplished entrepreneurs, experienced operators, active angel and venture investors, world-leading scientists, engineers, and economists.

The goal of the group objective setting with such high quality leaders is to give the startups as many perspectives and insights from experienced entrepreneurs as they can handle, helping collate collective intelligence and experience in order to help the ventures in think up new tactics for overcoming whatever challenges they currently face or setting better priorities, all to increase their probability of success.

So far we’re working closely with and have benefited tremendously from the insights of the following amazing founders and leaders:

Andrew Fursman CEO and Co-Founder at 1QBit

Gerri Sinclair BC Innovation Commissioner at the Government of British Columbia

Hassan Bhatti, Co-Founder & Board Member at Semantic Health. Previously co-founded CryptoNumerics (acquired by Snowflake in 2020)

Ali Pejman, Managing Partner at Fort Capital Partners

Jonathan Bixby, Co-Founder and Board Member at Stanley Park Ventures
